V3K9 Solutions, Inc. / OG Labs was founded and incorporated in 2004 out of a deep heritage of working dogs, hunting traditions, and family values.

With decades of experience training and competing with some of the most accomplished working dogs in the world, Rick Rutt has built a career around a deep understanding of canine performance, behavior, and partnership.

As the Owner and Head Trainer of V3K9 Solutions, Rick has worked with law enforcement agencies across Pennsylvania, helping develop and guide K9 programs for both police and sheriff departments. He has also served as a K9 Trainer and Instructor for the Johnstown Police Department, Founder and President of PennsWoods Ring Club, and Co-Founder of the American Ringsport Federation.

Rick’s competitive background in Ringsport earned him international recognition, with over 50 Ring III competitions, multiple NARA titles, and representation on Team USA at the 2007 Coupe InterContinentale in France. His dogs—Titan, Uber, Ubble, and Vulcain—became some of the most decorated American-bred competitors in the sport. Collectively, they earned three National Championships and multiple top placements:

• Titan – National Champion in 2006 and 2007, and 3rd in the World Championship in 2007

• Uber – National Champion in 2008

• Ubble – National Vice Champion in 2008

• Vulcan – American Ringsport Federation (ARF) Champion in 2010

Today, Rick channels that same level of precision and passion into the world of hunting retrievers, developing high-caliber Labrador retrievers that excel in both the field and the home. His training programs emphasize drive, steadiness, and intelligence, producing dogs that are as skilled in hunt tests as they are reliable hunting companions.
